The Bachelor Option
I’m a big advocate of living a flexible, open life. Being available to the options that present themselves. Not judging your own life by the narrative of others.
In that spirit, I’ve long believed that the bachelor life is a solid option for men. Now more than ever.
Since us humans benefit from having “role models” to help us envision ways of life… here’s a great story in the NY times about 4 hetereosexual guys who’ve lived together for the last 18 years as bachelors.
It’s a real option guys. A pretty damn safe one too. You can thrive as a man and do things differently than the rest of us. Would be a great context for managing multiple women in relative peace.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you want kids… although under very specific, hard to attain conditions that could be done too. It’s up to you. Make your life.
