Sprint training with a slope on your horizontal axis

I’m at the beach. And I love sprint training along the ocean. This morning I did 5 miles of sprint training along the gulf coast.

The thing is, the entire bit of wet sand (I don’t enjoy running in the soft sand) was sloped. So I basically ran 2.5 miles with the slope going down to my left, and then 2.5 miles with the slope going down to my right.

It felt new. It felt good. It definitely worked some new muscles, or some old muscles in new ways.
