How to thrive as a man.

10 Simple & Effective Exercises You Can Do In Your Hotel Room

I’m going on a long trip soon. And I won’t be able to take heavy things to lift with me. So what’s a man to do?

I’m going to be walking a lot. That’s half the job. But as for strength, I’m going to need to use my body (and my luggage).

Here’s are 10 easy, simple, effective and efficient exercises I’ll rotate through in my hotel room:

1. Body-weight squats

2. Wide armed pushups

3. Sneaky lunges

4. Military pushups (hands narrow, elbows squeeze the sides)

5. Jump squats

6. Decline pushups (feet up on a chair or couch)

7. Chair dips

8. Side lunges

9. Pick something up (from the ground) to your right and put it on an imaginary shelf to your left (20x). Repeat on the other side.

10 Pike Shoulder Press

Moral of the story: going on vacation is no excuse for losing strength or muscle tone. Just workout in your hotel room for 10 minutes each day… and then walk, walk walk.
